Rosario Simanella      DIRECTOR, EDITOR

Born in 1980, after finishing his PhD in Film Making at Bologna University, Rosario Simanella started to work as a filmmaker. As an enthusiastic traveller he became particularly interested in Indian and South American cultures and societies and completed a number of self produced films in Bolivia and India. In 2011 Ross founded his own film cooperative FUFILM, and continued to produce and direct documentaries including The Human Horses, shot in KolKata in 2012. He took part in several international film awards and won the Jury Special Award at the London Award Film in 2013, The Best director prize at the Sardinia Film Festival in 2014, and the Best cinematography award at the Delhi film festival in 2014.

Jairo Sansone      DOP/DIRECTOR

With a degree in Philosophy and Communication from the University of Siena, Jairo has been making films since 2005. As a freelance video maker he has created documentaries for schools and local city councils and has worked on various EU Projects. In 2006 he worked with REM director James Herbert as assistant director on the film Abandoned House. He was Lighting Assistant for A. Kiarostami (copie conforme) , and worked as the video editor for Machine de Teatre 2005. He has studied and worked with Erik Gandini , Guido Fiandra, Motus. For the last eight years Jairo has been travelling regularly to India and Nepal to work on independent documentary projects.
